Professional Printing Services for NGOs and Refugee-Led Organizations

I have worked with several international and national organizations in support of their humanitarian work in Kakuma Refugee Camp and Kalobeyei Settlement.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I had the opportunity to work with the IOM Kakuma Sub-Office on mask production and branding to support the safe travel and movement of thousands of refugees and host community members in Kenya. Through this partnership, I was able to strengthen my experience in working with international organizations and deliver professional services.

This collaboration also allowed me to take an important step forward by legalizing my business. After successfully providing branded masks, I was awarded another contract to brand the IOM Kakuma interview gate and main entrance. The project further enabled me to collaborate with other visual artists as well as individuals involved in tailoring, expanding both my professional network and my creative capacity.

Waste Management Project

During these two years, I worked with Peace Winds Japan Kenya on a waste bin branding project for Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kalobeyei Settlement Camp, and Kakuma Town. Through this program, I empowered youth participants by enabling them to gain access to employment and support their families. This work was supported by UNHCR and the European Commission.

Empowering Voices: Murals for Women’s Mental Health and Safety

This work was designed to provide psychosocial support to women and girls experiencing stress and trauma. The initiative aimed to support their mental health and ensure they did not feel forgotten or alone. These murals were created through a collaboration between Mudadi and Dilolo, with the goal of encouraging women to speak out about Gender-Based Violence (GBV) cases occurring in the camp and beyond. Since many women feel ashamed or afraid to raise their voices about such experiences, this project sought to empower them to share their stories and seek help.

Building Food Security Through Community Tools

From 2015 to 2016, I worked with the Norwegian Refugee Council on a wheelbarrow branding project. This initiative was designed to enable community action days and support households with kitchen gardens. Since access to water was often challenging, this program helped community members improve their agricultural activities and support their families.

Similar activities were later implemented by Peace Winds Japan Kenya for the same purposes. The reason we collaborated with all of these international agencies was the quality of work we delivered, along with our commitment to trust, honesty, and guaranteed customer service values.

Quote of the week

“Educating a refugee girl isn’t just an investment in her future; it’s an investment in our planet’s future and potential leaders. Let’s channel efforts into supporting refugee girls, ending the stigma for a peaceful and sustainable world.”
