Winning this award was not easy, and I did not achieve it alone. It was through the encouragement and support of thousands of people who stood by me, praying for me day and night, that I was nominated and declared the Winner of the Finding Futures Contest 2020 in the Art Category.
My deepest gratitude goes first to Almighty God for blessing me with these gifts, secondly to my teammates for their advice and cooperation, and lastly to my class Art Yetu for always being there for me.

The motivation behind crafting these daily reflections stems from a deep-seated desire to shed light on the realities faced by marginalized communities, especially those enduring the challenges of displacement. Kakuma Refugee Camp, a poignant symbol in this narrative, becomes a focal point to channel awareness and evoke empathy.
